Master Paul’s Vision for the promotional video
Master Paul Van Schoyck is the owner and head instructor of Chung’s MAA. He has an impressive martial arts background:
6th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do
5th-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do
1st-degree black belt in Hapkido
1st-degree black belt in Aikido (Birankai)
But his academy is not just about teaching kids to fight—it’s also about philosophy, discipline, and spirit. When we spoke about the vision for the video, he described wanting a samurai/monk vibe, something that captured both the art and the spirit of martial arts.

Producing this video required careful planning, the right lighting, and a deep understanding of athlete’s movements and the meaning behind them.
Alex, our skilled videographer, worked his magic behind the camera. He was filming striking martial arts sequences and capturing the intense focus of the students.
Meanwhile, I focused on guiding the on-screen talent and arranging the shots to make certain each moment felt impactful and cinematic.
